Image Edits

The Edit Image button in the editor's sub-toolbar

Click the photo button in the editor’s sub-toolbar to enter Edit Image mode. Edits are provisional until you confirm — click Apply to commit the whole session as a single undoable step; click Cancel (or the photo button again) to roll back.

Operations

Edit Image tools — rotate, flip, resize, auto-enhance, straighten


Crop	A crop selection covers the image when you enter the mode. Drag the handles or move the rectangle, then Apply. Expanding past the image edge fills with the blank-canvas color from Settings.
Rotate & flip	Rotate 90° or mirror horizontally / vertically with the buttons in the footer pill. Three rotations get you 270°.
Resize	Opens a width / height dialog with an aspect-ratio lock (on by default). Annotations scale along with the image.
Auto-enhance	One click runs Apple’s auto-adjustment — tone curve, vibrance, highlight / shadow recovery. Clicking again compounds the effect.
Straighten document	Detects document boundaries within the image and perspective-corrects it into a flat rectangle. Useful for photographed or scanned paperwork.
